John J. Giannino at 87 years of age, resident of Medford, formerly of Somerville passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Brighton House in Medford after a long illness. He was a retired shipper for Cains Potato Chip Company of Medford.

He was the husband of Patricia (Jillett) Giannino and the loving father of John Giannino, Jr. of Billerica, Janet Russell of Tewksbury, Patricia Wilcinski of Billerica, Donna Stanley of Hudson, NH, Marie Giannino of Medford and Robert E. Giannino-Racine of Concord, MA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was the brother of Peter Giannino of Billerica, Frank Giannino of Arlington and the late Josephine Trischitta, Veronica Spera, Joseph Giannino, Samuel Giannino and Mary Bruce.

A funeral mass was held at St. Raphael’s Church, 512 High Street, Medford, MA on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. Interment was private.
